Eng. Saman Jamshidi is currently a research fellow at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment, and Construction Engineering (DABC) of Politecnico di Milano.
In 2022, he received his M.Sc. Civil Engineering for Risk Mitigation from Politecnico di Milano. In his thesis and research subjects, he deals with the performance validation of the Fire Protection Systems made of Calcium Silicate boards enhanced with Expandable Graphite in partnership with Promat testing facilities at Tisselt, Belgium.Now, in collaboration with Reluis, he is focusing on Guidelines for risk classification and management, safety evaluation, and monitoring of existing bridges.
