Eng. Othmane Lasri graduated in structural civil engineering from the University of Bologna in 2021. In his thesis and research topics, he dealt with bridge monitoring techniques that analyze vibrations induced by vehicular traffic to locate and quantify structural damage. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering (DABC) of Politecnico di Milano; here, he is dealing with the study and application of the new Italian guidelines on the classification and risk management of bridges with a focus on remote monitoring techniques using SAR satellites.
