Mohsen Rezvani Alile is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) PhD student at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering (DABC) at Politecnico di Milano. He received his MSc in Earthquake Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2021. His research for the master’s degree focused on the dynamic behavior of structures under moving loads, a common issue in engineering applications such as bridges and railways. His current research (CROWD: Mobile Crowdsensing and IoT for Bridge System Identification) is part of the BRIDGITISE project funded by the European Union. It aims to further develop the existing indirect structural health monitoring methods by exploring potential extensions in system identification, utilizing data collected on a large scale through mobile devices and cloud computing.
